Join us for an interactive cooking experience with ingredients from our farm to your table!
Join bison farmers Shawn and Edith Sexsmith via Zoom as they open their farm and their kitchen for a live "cook-together" as you follow along at home. They will send you all the ingredients you need, so this event does not require any shopping on your part.
You will also get a "behind the scenes" look at Round The Bend Farm and be able to ask the farmers questions and share in the storytelling with other participants from near and far. This interactive group event will be like a real live dinner party, except done over Zoom! When everything’s cooked, feel free to stay online and eat “together", or you can sign off to enjoy your meal privately.
This event is only open to Manitoba residents at this time. We can also arrange private "friends and family" cook-togethers (ex. birthdays, corporate parties, family reunions) – please inquire here.

You will receive the package within a few days of the event, and a Zoom link.
2 Evenings before: take your roast out of the freezer and put it in a bowl in your fridge to thaw
Day of Event:
Gather the following:
Contents of your box
An oven-proof cooking vessel with a lid (Dutch oven, roaster, casserole dish)
A stove-top cooking vessel with a lid, big enough for 6 cups of water
A measuring cup
Butter, salt and pepper to taste
2:00: follow the Zoom link to join us LIVE!
2:15: meal prep begins – interaction is welcome and encouraged!
2:30: Virtual farm tour and Q&A time followed by a break
5:45: Re-join Zoom link and take our roast dinner out of the oven, and sit down to a great Northern Manitoba meal. You can sign off any time, or stay and eat with us!
Throughout this event you will be able to ask questions of us (the farmers who grew your meal) and interact in a fun, friendly, no-masks-required atmosphere!
