We sell whole animals based on 'hot hanging weight'. This means the carcass at the point it is ready to start cutting up. Hot hanging weight for a bison is typically 550 to 600 lbs. Our price is $4.75/lb PLUS butcher fees and transport. With today's rates for butcher fees, an entire bison cut and wrapped in your freezer will cost around $4,000. (Less than $11/lb for all cuts whether they be ground bison or the very finest T-bone steaks -- an incredible deal!)
BONUS: You can specify how you want it cut, and you will also receive the hide and finished skull.
