ROUND THE BEND FARM

We process the chickens on the farm ourselves and they typically weigh between 5 and 7 pounds. We take orders for roasting chickens throughout the year and they are typically ready for delivery or pick up starting in mid-July. Some of our customers like to buy whole chickens then part them out into legs, thighs, wings and breasts themselves. If you are interested in doing that, you can pick your birds up fresh on processing day.

Until you have eaten a turkey raised outside on the grass you really have not had a good turkey!  We get them as day old chicks at the same time we get our chicken chicks and they are ready by Thanksgiving. We don’t raise that many so if you are interested in getting one it is best to get your order in early.
